A new point of view

Katie has some physical developmental delays due to her hypotonia (low muscle tone) and has not hit some milestones on time. This is due to her stay in the ICN for 6 weeks and not getting the normal stimulation and play that most babies start getting as soon as they come home from the hospital. However, since coming home she has begun to catch up and has recently mastered holding her head up. This has given her much more to look at and she has decided that she wants to be where she can see all the time. We are so proud of her hard work!
Someone told us that Michael would provide some of the best physical therapy, and they were right! She follows him all around the floor and watches him play.

I just came around the corner from the kitchen and this is what I saw. Michael is so sweet with her! She was whining a little and he said, "Don't cry, I love you sister!"

  1. Such a sweet picture of Michael and Katie on the floor together. Their bond will continue to grow stronger, I am sure of that.
